Colquitt Street Tontine

Formed by 1807 with 100 investors putting up £100 each to purchase a property known as Colquitt-street in Liverpool. As succesive members died rents were divided between the remaining members. When only 2 members were left a deed of settlement was executed and the property sold.
The company registered as being in existence in 1845 but we are not sure when it ceased.
