Boyd Neel Orchestra Limited
Registered by 1938. Neel was a practising surgeon whilst he studied music and conducted amateur groups. His professional orchestra made its debut in 1933 and was later invited to record at the BBC. His orchestra toured Europe prior to WWII after which he continued and conducted at Sadlers Wells and for D’Oyly Carte among others. In 1952 he accepted the post of Dean of the Royal Conservatory of Music at Toronto, Ontario where he served for the next 18 years. Some certificates signed by Neel.
