Dearne Valley Railway Company
Incorporated on the 6th August 1897
A line proposed to link several Yorkshire towns and collieries with the Hull and Barnsley Railway among others. It was opened in 1909 and its connections to existing railways were built by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, who later absorbed the line.
