Epsom and Leatherhead Railway Company
Incorporated on 14th July 1856
A short line connecting the named towns, and extending the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway to Leatherhead. A joint station was built with the Wimbledon and Dorking Railway, providing connections between the London, Brighton and South Coast, and the London and South Western Railways. The line opened in 1859, and passed to the latter company.
