Rother Valley Railway Company (later Kent and East Sussex)
Incorporated in 1896. A 12 mile line connected with the South Eastern and Chatham Railway. It was re-named the Kent and East Sussex Railway in 1904. The company remained independent during grouping, but went into liquidation in 1932.
