Huddersfield and Sheffield Junction Railway Company
Incorporated on 30th June 1845.
A 13 mile line connecting Huddersfield to the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway. It opened in 1850 having amalgamated with the Manchester and Leeds Railway in 1846, and thus passed to the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway.
Capital £532,000 in shares and £177,300 in loans.
