Lynn and Fakenham Railway Company
Incorporated on 13th July 1876.
A 22 mile line connecting the towns, which opened in 1879. Together with the Yarmouth and North Norfolk Light Railway it formed the Eastern and Midlands Railway in 1882, which passed to the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in 1893.
Capital £150,000 in £10 shares. Loans of £50,000. Extension capital of £480,000 and loans of £160,000 authorised in 1880, and again in 1881 to connect with the Yarmouth and North Norfolk of £198,000 and £66,000 respectively.
