Potteries, Shrewsbury and North Wales Railway Company
Incorporated on 16th July 1865.
An amalgamation of the Shrewsbury and North Wales, the Shrewsbury and Potteries Junction, and the Oswestry and Llangynog Railways. Opened in 1866 and short lived, the lines closed in 1880. A new company the ‘Shropshire Railways Company’ formed in 1888 and used the lines again but abandoned them in 1891.
Capital £858,200 in shares, and £529,952 in debenture stock.
