Incorporated on 3rd August 1846.
An 8½ mile line between Dudley and Walsall. It amalgamated with the Trent Valley, Midland and Grand Junction Railway (which line it met in Walsall) to form the South Staffordshire Railway. Passed to the London and North Western company in 1867.
