Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company
Incorporated on 13th July 1863.
A line between the towns, opened in 1867 as an extension of the Midland Railway network. It was worked by and vested in that company. The company was dissolved in 1886 to become part of the Midland company, and the line closed in 1947.
Capital £66,000 in £20 shares, and loans of £22,000. Extension capital in 1865 of £35,000 and £7,600 respectively.
