A 5½ mile loop line in junction with the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. It opened in 1868, having passed jointly to the London and South Western (with which it also connected), and the London, Brighton & South Coast Railways.
Capital £95,000 in shares and £31,600 in loans. Increased by £52,500 and £17,500 respectively in 1865 when vested in the LB&SC and the LSW.
