Wotton Tramway Company
Independent, later incorporated in 1888 as the Oxford and Aylesbury Tramroad.
A line built on the private estate of the Duke of Buckingham, the Wooton Tramway was used to transport agricultural produce from the estate to the Aylesbury and Buckingham Railway. First opened in 1871, the line extended to Brill and began passenger transport in 1872. It was re-named the Oxford and Aylesbury Tramroad in 1888, being improved/upgraded and connected with the Metropolitan Railway. It closed in 1935.
