Incorporated in Idaho in 1886, promoted by prominent Spokane businessman Daniel C. Corbin to build a railroad link from the Coeur d’Alene River to nearby mining regions. Leased to the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1888 and sold to that company after foreclosure in 1897.
