
American DeForest Wireless Telegraph Company
Formed by Abraham White to promote the inventions of Lee DeForest, the last in a series of companies formed mainly for stock promotion. In 1906 the company was acquired by United Wireless, another of White’s companies, shareholders being offered complicated share exchange deals.
Capital $11,500,000 Common stock and $3,500,000 Preferred stock in shares of $10.
