Russia: 1862, 7th 5% State Loan

Issued £15,000,000 to strengthen the metallic reserves. In April 1890, holders were offered conversion into the 4% Gold Loan (3rd issue). Bonds not converted were repaid in July 1890. A small number of bonds came to the market in the late 1970s.
