A director and general manager, Samuel Gurney Massey, was charged with fraud in relation to the London and Suburban Bank in 1903 but acquitted. He was again charged with giving false statements in relation to The Economic Bank in 1906 following its stoppage in 1905 and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment. He signs the certificates.
