Kent Water Works Company
Incorporated in 1809 to acquire the Ravensbourne Water Works which had been founded in 1701, and to supply water from the Ravensbourne to Deptford, Lee, Woolwich, Rotherhithe, Greenwich and Lewisham, Kent. Taken over by the Metropolitan Water Board in 1904 along with many other Water companies.
