Church Fenton, Cawood and Wistow Railway Company
Incorporated in 1879
A 5 ½ mile line, authorised to connect with the Hull and Barnsley Railway in 1882. The following year the company changed its name to the Selby and Mid-Yorkshire Union Railway, and planned to connect to the North Eastern Railway. However, in 1884 the line was abandoned, and the company was purchased by the North Eastern who opened the Cawood, Wistow and Selby Light Railway in 1897.
