Records where place of business is Argentina
In the Spanish Colonial period the territory was part of the Viceroyalty of Peru and then the Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata from 1776 with Buenos Aires as the capital. Like most of the Spanish American Colonies revolution followed with Independence being declared in July 1816 as the United Provinces of South America but usually known as Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata. There followed many years of civil wars with the modern state emerging in 1861.
