Formed to acquire 5 blocks of 40 acres at Broken Hill, New South Wales. In April 1891 80 acres where sold to the East Broken Hill Consols Ltd. The developments of this ground proved disappointing and the East Broken Hill Consols Ltd was absorbed back into this company, in order to do this the capital was increased. The company was reconstructed as the New Australian Broken Hill Consols Ltd.
