Claremont Gold Mine Ltd
Registered 21st August 1906 to acquire from the Tokatea Trust Ltd. a gold mining property at Broad Arrow District, Coolgardie Goldfield, Western Australia formerly belonging to the Golden Arrow Mine Ltd. Further ground was acquired in 1908 from the Union Consolidated Trust Ltd. and Claremont Trust Ltd. as well as the undertakings of the Reward Gold Mines Ltd. on the Yalgoo, East Murchison and Coolgardie Goldfields. In November 1908 the Claremont Trust Ltd was acquired which gave the company properties in the Gold Coast Colony. The company was reconstructed in 1911 as the Akoko Gold Mines and Estates Ltd. In voluntary liquidation 30th November 1911. Company number 89917
Capital £75,000 in shares of £1. Increased to £100,000 in November 1908 with the creation of new shares and the old shares being subdivided into have a value of 5/- each.
