This was a holding company formed in 1911 by a group of Belgian and German banks and electrical companies, including Société Générale, Bq. de Bruxelles, Bq. de Paris & des Pays-Bas, Dresdner Bank and Diskonto-Gesellschaft, to buy holdings in Belgian companies in tramways & electric companies, trading in Russia. Major holdings included Tramways de Riga, Electricité de Bialystock, and de Radom, Tramways & Eclairage electrique de Simferopol, Téléphones d’Odessa, Electricité de Czestochowa, and Electricité d’Odessa.
