Limerick and Kerry Railway Company
Incorporated on 5th August 1873. A large 43 mile line connecting County Limerick via a link with the Great Southern and Western Railway to County Kerry. The line passed to the Great Southern and Western in 1902.
Capital £150,000 in guaranteed shares, £110,000 in ordinary shares, and £130,000 in loans. Increased in 1881 by £30,000 preferable mortgage stock, £200,000 new shares or stock and £100,000 in loans.
