Concession granted in March 1865. Initial capital was £782,500 in shares of £100. Jouissance shares were issued to holders of shares that were called for amortisation. The share certificate contains the facsimile signature of Pavel von Derwies (Derviz), one of the biggest railroad tycoons of Russia. In 1892, the name of the company was changed to Riazan-Uralsk Railway Company.
