Russia: 1820, 5% Loan

Issued 40,000,000 roubles (silver) for the withdrawal of assignats. Certificates were in Russian on one side and in French (the official Court language) on the reverse. Dutch bankers issued their own certificates against the originals so they could be traded in Holland.
