A very successful British controlled company registered in Singapore but with its capital and chief office in Bangkok. Took over 6 local Thai companies in 1938 which led to the Siamese Vessels Act of 1939 which made all companies at leat 70% Thai owned. This company could not meet that criteria so was ultimately sold to the Thai Government in June 1940.
