Cornwall Minerals Railway Company
Incorporated on 21st July 1873
A system of lines from the north-west of the county to the south coast. It extended around 47 miles, and opened in 1874. In 1875 the company took on the lines of the Fal Valley and Temple Mineral Railways, and use of the Bodmin, Wadebridge and Delabole Railway. The Great Western took ownership in 1896.
Capital £750,000 in shares of £100 each (half ordinary and half preference). Loans of £250,000. New capital raised in 1875 £75,000 and £25,000 in loans, and in 1890 £24,000 and loans £8,000.
