
Crystal Palace Company
First completely registered 14th June 1852 and then incorporated by Royal Charter in 1853. Built for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park to the designs of Joseph Paxton. Dismantled and moved to Sydenham where it stayed until it was destroyed by fire in 1936.
Original capital in shares of £5.
Capital by 1907 £165,000 in 75,000 New Preference shares and 85,000 New Preferred Ordinary shares and 5,000 Deferred Ordinary shares of £1.
