Dover and Deal Railway Company
Incorporated on 30th June 1874
A line which had previously been authorised on the 5th July 1865, but allowed to lapse. It was built by the London, Chatham and Dover, and the South Eastern Companies jointly to connect the towns and their own lines, and opened in 1881.
Capital £125,000 loans £40,000, possibly raised by the owning companies.
