Registered 1863. The Company guaranteed the circulation of all new Works of value or interest, immediately after Publication. Works not in the Library were purchased at the request of Subscribers. Books were delivered to Town Subscribers by the Company’s Carts daily, within a radius of 3 miles, and twice weekly within 5 miles. Subscription from Two Guineas upwards. Holders of 10 Shares and upwards were entitled to special advantages as Subscribers. Dissolved <1916. Company number 819C.
