Incorporated on 1st August 1899
An underground line intended to run from Wood Green to an area north of the Strand, backed by the Great Northern Railway as it would potentially relieve congestion on their lines. It was not built as such, and was taken over by the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway company in 1902.
