Helston Railway Company
Incorporated on 9th July 1880.
A line running nearly 9 miles from the town to the West Cornwall Railway. It was vested in the Great Western Railway in 1898, having been worked by the company since opening in 1887.
Capital £70,000 in shares of £20 each, loans of £23,333. New capital raised in 1885 of £6,000 and £2,000 respectively, and the same again in 1886 with preference shares replacing many of the ordinary shares.
