Incorporated on 29th July 1864.
A line to connect Holywell and its mineral exports to the Chester and Holyhead Railway. It remained a mineral line, falling into disuse and passed to the London and North Western Railway who re-opened it as a branch line (the Holywell Curve) in 1913.
Capital raised by the LNW, the amount combined with other small extensions and alterations authorised by the Act.
