Kettering, Thrapstone and Huntingdon Railway Company
Incorporated on 28th July 1863
Previously the Kettering and Thrapstone Railway. A 26 mile line linking the Midland and the Great Eastern Railways from east to west, and carrying ironstone to the numerous ironworks in the area. It was worked by the Midland Railway from its opening in 1866, and later leased to that company.
Total capital £518,100 divided into £75,600 debenture stock, £162,500 ‘A’ stock, £180,000 ‘B’ stock and £100,000 ordinary stock.
