Kington and Eardisley Railway Company
Incorporated on 30th June 1862.
A line running 13 miles between the towns. It connected the Leominster and Kington Railway with the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway, and opened in 1874 following assistance from the Leominster company. The line passed to the Great Western in 1897, that company having worked the line.
Original capital £100,000 in shares of £10 each, loans £33,000. Due to financial losses, the capital was converted in 1877.
