Kington Railway Company
Incorporated on 23rd May 1818.
A 14 mile Horse-drawn line from a junction with the Hay Railway to Burlinjob. It created a through route from Brecon to Burlinjob with two other lines, the first instance of co-operation between public railways to form a single route. The line passed to the Kington and Eardisley Railway in 1862 and was converted for locomotive use.
