Incorporated on 22nd June 1825. Re-incorporated on 11th May 1858.
A 7 mile line between the towns, later extended to join with the Liskeard and Caradon Railway to allow their traffic through to Looe and the Estuary there. It was leased by the latter company from 1901, and passed to the Great Western in 1909.
Capital £12,000 in shares of £25 each. Loans of £4,000.
