A 10 mile line linking Lydd and the South Eastern Railway with Appledore and Dungeness in Kent. It opened in December 1881 and joined the South Eastern Railway in 1895.
Capital £75,000 in shares of £10 each, and loans of £25,000. Extension capital in 1882 and 1883 totalling £280,000 in stock/shares and £93,333 in loans. 1885 a further £100,000 and £33,000 authorised.
