Marple, New Mills and Hayfield Junction Railway Company
Incorporated on 15th May 1860.
A 6 mile standard gauge line connecting the towns and the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire with the Disley and Hayfield Railway at either end. It became vested in the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire in 1865, and was jointly owned with the Midland Railway from 1869.
