Mid Kent (Bromley to St. Mary Clay) Railway Company
Incorporated on 21st July 1856.
A short 4 mile line from Bromley (where it met the West End of London and Crystal Palace line) to St. Mary Cray. It was leased to the London, Chatham and Dover Railway with which it was connected at St. Mary Cray when the latter was built, providing an alternative to the South Eastern Railways route between London and Dover.
Capital £70,000 in £10 shares, and loans of £23,000.
