
Middlesbrough and Guisbrough Railway Company
Incorporated on 17th June 1852. A 9 mile line connecting the towns and forming a junction with the Middlesbrough and Redcar line, opened in 1854. It was absorbed by the Stockton and Darlington Railway, and became part of the North Eastern Railway from 1863.
Capital £76,000 in shares of £25 each, and loans of £20,000.
