Northampton and Banbury Junction Railway Company
Originally incorporated on 9th July 1847.
A 21 mile line initially named the Northampton and Banbury, but re-incorporated to include ‘junction’ on 28th July 1863. It connected with the London and North Western Railway and opened in 1866, extending further in 1872. It later formed part of the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway.
