Peterborough, Wisbech and Sutton Railway Company
Incorporated on 28th July 1863.
A 26 mile line connecting the towns with the Norwich and Spalding Railway. Opened in 1866, the line was worked by the Midland Railway, and later amalgamated with the Eastern and Midlands Railway in 1883. Finally passed to the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway.
Capital £180,000 in shares of £20 each, and loans of £60,000. Extension capital of £105,000 in shares in 1864, and £39,500 in shares in 1865.
