Rowrah and Kelton Fell Mineral Railway Company
Incorporated on 16th July 1874. A 3 mile line in Cumberland also connected with the Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont Railway. It was built and worked by William Baird and Co., a large Scottish Iron company who owned mines in the area, and opened in 1877.
Capital £30,000 in shares of £10 each. £9,000 raised in 1882 in new ordinary shares of £10.
