Shortlands and Nunhead Railway Company
Incorporated on 12th August 1889. An 8 mile loop line connecting two sections of the London, Chatham and Dover Railway, more recently known as the Catford Loop Line. It was opened in 1892 by the LC&D, and electrified in 1925 by the Southern Railway, the line still in use today.
Capital £320,000 divided into £220,000 ‘A’ shares of £20 each, and £100,000 ‘B’ shares of £20 each. Loans of £106,000.
