A line running from Whitby Harbour to Grosmont and later Pickering, carrying both goods (ironstone and timber) and passengers. It was sold to the York and North Midland Railway in 1845, and passed to the North Eastern Railway in 1854.
Capital £80,000 in shares and £25,000 in loans.
