A line to connect the town (and its woollen industry) with the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway in Yarnton. It was later sold to the Great Western Railway in 1890.
Capital £50,000 in shares of £10 each. Loans of £16,000. 5% preference shares issued in 1861 to replace cancelled ordinary shares. Additional loans of £17,000 in 1872.
