Wrexham and Minera Railway Company
Incorporated on 17th May 1861.
A short 3 mile line linking Wrexham with the Shrewsbury and Chester line. It opened in 1862, was extended in 1865 and leased to the London and North Western and the Great Western Railways jointly. The line passed to the Great Western in 1871.
Capital £36,000 in £10 shares, loans of £12,000. New lines in 1865, capital £60,000 and £20,000.
