Formed in 1908 when John Hunter Wiltshire purchased Morris & Elkan Ltd. Tobacco Brokers and Cigar and Tobacco Importers, for £25,600 and the name was changed to this.
Capital £110,000 in 85,000 preference shares of £1 and 25,000 ordinary shares of £1. Increased to £140,000 in 110,000 preference shares of £1 and 30,000 ordinary shares of £1. Later increased to £160,000.
