Dundee and Perth Railway Company
Incorporated on 31st July 1845
A 20 mile line connecting Perth with the existing Dundee and Arbroath Railway. It opened in 1847 and was later known as the Dundee, Perth and Aberdeen Railway Junction Company. The line was vested in the Scottish Central Railway before passing to the Caledonian in 1881.
Capital £500,000 divided into Original Shares of £25 each, New Shares of £25 each, and Preference Quarter shares. Loans of £100,000.
